Simagis Live web pathology server now can make and view digital slides that include multiple “patches” of varying magnification.Multiple high resolution scans can be automatically “patched” into low magnification preview for seamless web viewing and automated analysis. For integrated imaging equipment, such as Mikroscan slide scanners, users will be able to mark Regions of Interest (ROI)on preview image in web browser and get high resolution “patch” from remotescanner on demand. This approach drastically reduces data transfer volumes,scan times, and improves remote viewing experience. Both Smart Imaging and Mikroscan will showcase latest solutions at upcoming CAP 11 show in Dallas this weekend.
